This privacy policy explains how Soham Ray ("I", "me") collects, uses, stores and protects information in connection with the website at sohamray.com and the Amazon marketplace and advertising services I provide to client brands.

1. Who I am

Soham Ray is an independent Amazon marketplace consultant based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, providing platform strategy, advertising management and retail readiness services to consumer packaged goods brands. I am the data controller for the information described in this policy.

2. Information collected through this website

This website is a static informational site. It does not host forms, accounts or e-commerce functionality, and it does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If you contact me by email, I receive the information you choose to include in that message — typically your name, email address, company and the details of your enquiry.

The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google may receive your IP address and standard request headers. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

3. Client and advertising data

When a brand engages me, I am granted access to their Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, Amazon Ads and/or Amazon DSP accounts, either directly or through the Amazon Ads API under the account owner's authorization. Through that access I may process:

• Advertising campaign, ad group, keyword, placement and creative configurations;
• Performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, spend, attributed sales, ACOS and ROAS;
• Product catalogue and listing data, including ASINs, titles, imagery and content;
• Aggregated sales, inventory and business reporting for the client's own account.

This data belongs to the client. It is accessed only to the extent needed to deliver the agreed services.

4. How information is used

Information is used solely to:

• Manage, optimize and report on advertising campaigns for the client accounts I have been authorized to access;
• Analyze performance and produce reporting and recommendations for that client;
• Respond to enquiries and communicate about services.

I do not sell, rent or license client data. I do not use one client's data to benefit another client, and I do not combine client data into shared or benchmark datasets. Data obtained through the Amazon Ads API is not used for any purpose other than serving the advertiser whose account it came from.

5. Sharing and disclosure

Information is not shared with third parties except where necessary to deliver services (for example, reputable business tools used for reporting or document storage, operating under their own confidentiality obligations), where the client has instructed the disclosure, or where required by applicable law.

6. Storage, retention and security

Data is stored on access-controlled systems protected by strong authentication and encryption in transit. Access is limited to me. Client data is retained only for as long as needed to deliver services and to meet legal or contractual obligations, and is deleted on request or at the end of an engagement.

7. Amazon API compliance

Where services are delivered using Amazon's APIs, that use complies with the Amazon Ads API Terms of Service, the Amazon Ads Agreement and the Amazon Acceptable Use Policy. API credentials and tokens are stored securely, are never shared, and access is revoked when an engagement ends.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to the personal information held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email weshopthebest@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

These services are directed to businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
